Interview Red Flags For The IT Consultant
When Scott Robinson posted "Interview red flags for the IT consultant" in his TechRepublic blog last week, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the questions came from both sides. Because when you're discussing a new IT project, it's important for the interviewer and the interviewee to see the big picture. Often times, a consultant doesn't get a chance to ask questions of his potential client that could directly affect the success of the project. Things like, "How many of your developers are familiar with your legacy systems", or "What version of software are your currently running". The answers to these questions can significantly impact the time and tasks associated to project deliverable's.
